Hey! Today I went to “Talks about Photography”. A Dutch event for photographers, 19 people gave 15 minute presentations on very different aspects of photography. Some of them where truely inspiring, others didn’t really manage to hold my attention. But it was nice to be fully surrounded by photographers for an entire day. There was one photographer (Arnold Reynefeld) who told about not being afraid to show yourself… a lot of people only share positive things on social media, making it seem like their lifes are perfect. But no one is. He told his own story, that he was depressed and self harmed and that one day he decided to share this, afraid that nobody would want to work with him afterwards. Hello, Time for another Throwback Thursday! Everyone around me is going on vacation and I’m still stuck in my small hometown. So it’s a great day to remember last year’s trip to Berlin. Hey! I’m so super excited for M’era Luna this August that I decided to show you some of photos of last year. Really can’t wait, last year was so impressive. The entire mood of the festival is just amazing and the people are so inspiring. Best part? Can’t even tell… perhaps the fashion show featuring our Miss & Mr. Alternative winners, maybe the Medieval market, or the fun at the Attitude Holland stand. Maybe the sneakpeeks backstage or the band performances, or just watching all the people that are walking by. And I’m pretty sure this year is going to be even better… I’ll be heading there with Attitude Holland and our Miss & Mr. Alternative winners. We’re also selling some tickets and even a bus ride if you want to go as well. I would love to see you there (and take your photo)! Fact #7: A few days…
