London Edge Feb. 2018

Hi batsies, Welcome (back), time for a new post! I’ve spent  10/11/12 February in London with Psychara for Attitude Holland, and it was awesome. We spent the Saturday shooting, but that will be a different posts once all the results are finished and approved ;) On Sunday and Monday we went to London Edge. Even though some of my favourite brands aren’t present at London Edge (anymore) I still love going there. This time there were a lot of new and smaller brands and I think that might just be even better than all the big ones. We’ve decided to start out on the highest floor, where the smallest brands were located, and we immediately bumped into some pretty cool ones. Metallimonsters was absolutely adorable, making cute gothic looks for kids… if only there were around when I was little. One dress was even called “Dusk”! Next up was Tatjana…

Hi batsies <3 Sorry for the immense delay on this post. I’ve been working on my own little webshop Jar of Dusk. It’s taking up all my free time, but hopefully it will be worth it! Hi batsies, I’m well aware that it has been over a week since AttitudeFest and that this blog is quite late… I was planning to wait on the aftervideo, since we still haven’t received the final version I just decided to write now and add the video later. And well it took some time for me to get back on track as well, AttitudeFest is always taking up soo much of my time and energy. London Edge 2017

Hello my batsies <3 It’s almost a week ago since I was walking around on London Edge with Attitude Holland already! I want to go back… It’s been quite an intense week so far with quitting my job at Zara (too much working for free, never getting a compliment and I felt like we were all turning into different people. At London Edge I just realised that the “alternative” world is so much better and nicer so for now I want to focus on my photography/blogging/make-up etc again :) So good news for you guys! Lookbook Urban Classics

Hee batsies, I guess it’s a bit too late to wish you all a Happy New Year right? Back when I wrote my previous post I thought that by now I would have settled in Leeuwarden a bit more and have less hours at Zara (more like the 20 a week I signed for) and a bit more time to spare… but I guess that was way too optimistic. Turns out I’m still in a bit of the same mess, not even having the time to construct the furniture I got. But I did finally put part of my clothes in a dresser, step 1 has been taken, haha. Most of my clothes and items are still in Enschede but guess what, don’t have time to get those to Leeuwarden either. Attitude Fest

Hi my lovely bats, last Saturday it was finally here: Attitude Fest! And I’m still extremely tired, but it was a great succes! It was so lovely to see a lot of people enjoying our little festival. Though I wished more people would support the bands instead of waiting in line for a free tattoo drawing or hairdye… But I guess people have their own priorities. So far I have only heard positive feedback from visitors so that’s really great. Of course there were (loads of) things that didn’t go as planned and I did spent my day running around fixing problems, but as long as the visitors didn’t really notice it’s not that bad right? I gave a small photography workshop but since I was stressing around a bit it didn’t really go that smooth… still I hope people enjoyed it and learned from it as well. I’m a…

Summer Grunge lookbook

Hi batsies <3 So sorry for the silence over here, organising Attitude Fest is taking all my energy… (but only 1 week left!! and then other cool things will follow). But in the meantime we did shoot the new lookbook (at the Attitude Fest location)! I must admit that at first when I heard the concept, pastel grunge, I really didn’t see how that would fit my style, but I love how it turned out in the end! And I even want to buy some of the items now… always a problem, haha. Anyway I have to get back to organising stress again so that’s it for now. You can view the lookbook below. Super Star Gods at Neushoorn 27/03

Good evening, did you all have a nice easter weekend? I had, well sort of, I had a bike accident and got my foot caught in the wheel, (yes what normally happens to small children only, I’m just that lucky) but aside from that it was a lovely weekend! Sunday evening my friends band Super Star Gods played the support show for Spiritual Beggars at Neushoorn Poppodium. It was a very small stage but the shows and the entire vibe of the evening were extremely good! The best way to spent your easter evening is at a rock show, right? Unfortunately I had the bike accident the day of the show so my foot and leg were killing me that evening (my New Rock heels did save the evening a bit though, since it did hurt way less when standing on 7 inch heels) so I only took some photos…

The sorceress

Hey again! Last Sunday morning I did this amazing magical dark shoot with Busra Karayavuz and I think you guys might like the results as well. It was quite impulsive because I just wanted to do a quick shoot to have a new photo to expand my make-up & hair styling portfolio, but it turned out so much better than I expected. We just make a great team! haha. What most people don’t know is that when I bought my first camera I did so because I used to make a lot of fantasy photomanipulations and I got tired of always working with other people’s photos… But then I brought my camera with me to a concert and then got into concertphotography and I never really started photomanipulations with my own pictures. Super Star Gods – studioshoot

Hey batsies, last week I did a very fun photoshoot with Super Star Gods again, this time in a big photostudio. Some of you who know me a bit better might know  that I’m not the biggest fan of shooting in a studio but I’m really happy with the result!
