Hi batsies, Welcome (back), time for a new post! I’ve spent  10/11/12 February in London with Psychara for Attitude Holland, and it was awesome. We spent the Saturday shooting, but that will be a different posts once all the results are finished and approved ;) On Sunday and Monday we went to London Edge. Even though some of my favourite brands aren’t present at London Edge (anymore) I still love going there. This time there were a lot of new and smaller brands and I think that might just be even better than all the big ones. We’ve decided to start out on the highest floor, where the smallest brands were located, and we immediately bumped into some pretty cool ones. Metallimonsters was absolutely adorable, making cute gothic looks for kids… if only there were around when I was little. One dress was even called “Dusk”! Next up was Tatjana…

Hello my batsies <3 It’s almost a week ago since I was walking around on London Edge with Attitude Holland already! I want to go back… It’s been quite an intense week so far with quitting my job at Zara (too much working for free, never getting a compliment and I felt like we were all turning into different people. At London Edge I just realised that the “alternative” world is so much better and nicer so for now I want to focus on my photography/blogging/make-up etc again :) So good news for you guys! More me, haha.) and getting a new research and treatment for my health which had some results that I still have to wrap my head around a little bit… But for now it’s just time to tell you about the awesome start of the week: London Edge! At first when I heard that all the…

Hee batsies, I guess it’s a bit too late to wish you all a Happy New Year right? Back when I wrote my previous post I thought that by now I would have settled in Leeuwarden a bit more and have less hours at Zara (more like the 20 a week I signed for) and a bit more time to spare… but I guess that was way too optimistic. Turns out I’m still in a bit of the same mess, not even having the time to construct the furniture I got. But I did finally put part of my clothes in a dresser, step 1 has been taken, haha. Most of my clothes and items are still in Enschede but guess what, don’t have time to get those to Leeuwarden either. But still being optimistic that soon I will get less hours and be able to do all those things.…

Good afternoon batsies, as promised my London Edge diary! SATURDAY Ok so this actually wasn’t London Edge yet, but just an awesome day in London. Our plane was delayed quite a bit and we got desperately lost on our way to the hotel so we didn’t have as much free time as we hoped but it was still fun! Spend the day in Camden (of course). Soo many stores that sell New Rocks! It’s just so hard to not spend money there. But there really aren’t that many alternative shops left, just a whole lot of tourist shops by now, which makes me a bit sad. But we had a mission: finding Gaby her perfect pair of high creepers. She did find them! But for 150 pounds so she didn’t bought them, haha. Instead she did find a pair of nightwalker look-a-like heels for only 5! Score. She also wanted…

Hey! Today I went to “Talks about Photography”. A Dutch event for photographers, 19 people gave 15 minute presentations on very different aspects of photography. Some of them where truely inspiring, others didn’t really manage to hold my attention. But it was nice to be fully surrounded by photographers for an entire day. There was one photographer (Arnold Reynefeld) who told about not being afraid to show yourself… a lot of people only share positive things on social media, making it seem like their lifes are perfect. But no one is. He told his own story, that he was depressed and self harmed and that one day he decided to share this, afraid that nobody would want to work with him afterwards. But it actually helped, because he was able to open up people like working with him and find it easier to open up themselves. Which leads to more…
