London Edge Feb. 2018

Hi batsies, Welcome (back), time for a new post! I’ve spent  10/11/12 February in London with Psychara for Attitude Holland, and it was awesome. We spent the Saturday shooting, but that will be a different posts once all the results are finished and approved ;) On Sunday and Monday we went to London Edge. Even though some of my favourite brands aren’t present at London Edge (anymore) I still love going there. This time there were a lot of new and smaller brands and I think that might just be even better than all the big ones. We’ve decided to start out on the highest floor, where the smallest brands were located, and we immediately bumped into some pretty cool ones. Metallimonsters was absolutely adorable, making cute gothic looks for kids… if only there were around when I was little. One dress was even called “Dusk”! Next up was Tatjana…

M’era Luna 2017

Hi batsies <3 Last weekend it was finally time for M’era Luna again! Everybody who knows me a bit or has been following me for a while knows that I look forward to it the whole year, haha. It’s always quite a sad moment when it’s over and you have to get back to adjusting to normal live again, where is all the black? Luckily I had a photoshoot with ReeRee Phillips and Psychara on Wednesday so I could linger in M’era Luna like vibes a bit longer this year. London Edge 2017

Hello my batsies <3 It’s almost a week ago since I was walking around on London Edge with Attitude Holland already! I want to go back… It’s been quite an intense week so far with quitting my job at Zara (too much working for free, never getting a compliment and I felt like we were all turning into different people. M’era Luna 2016 – Part 3

Hi there, I hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was super different and busy. On Friday I did this amazing photoshoot with Nathaly Blue at the former Dutch amusement park “Land van Ooit”. On Saturday I went to Lowlands festival, which took me a couple of hours to adjust to how extremely different it was from M’era Luna, but it was fun, I finally saw Sum 41 live! Teenhood memories, haha. And on Sunday I helped out at the Attitude Holland open house, which is always fun to do, I love helping people to shop and spend all there money at Attitude *evil laugh*. Hi again, busy week over here! Here’s part 2 of my M’era Luna photos. This time the results of the shoot with Miss & Mr.  Alternative (Donna & Nils) for Attitude Holland. Doing a photoshoot at a festival is always very challenging but also loads of fun, all the people that instantly want to take photos of them as well… never stops being funny. M’era Luna 2016 – part 1

Hi there batsies, last weekend was amazing once again. I always look forward to the M’era Luna festival the entire year and then it goes by soo fast! But luckily enough we still got some photos. It’s just a completely different world and I have to get used to normal life again over here. Being over there is so inspiring and everything is accepted and “normal” which gives such a relax vibe on the entire festival, if only life could be more like that I think the world would be a much better place. I didn’t take as many “general” festival photos as last year but I did do more shoots, with Miss & Mr. Alternative for Attitude Holland and with Psychara and Mai Magi. Good evening batsies, it’s a strange week for me… I have to hand in the key of my lovely office/studio space in the monastery. The year is already over, I had to choose between another full year or stopping and since my health still doesn’t allow me to do many photoshoots and use this gorgeous space as much as I would love, I decided to stop renting. It feels a bit as if I failed since I didn’t use it as much as planned and never did as many shoots as I wanted to do… but there’s nothing I could do about it. I wish I could keep it until I feel better again but it’s just to expensive :( Hopefully one day I will find a new place just as gorgeous. Tonight I have to go there to start packing my stuff, sad moment. I did enjoy every minute…

Hey again! Last Sunday morning I did this amazing magical dark shoot with Busra Karayavuz and I think you guys might like the results as well. It was quite impulsive because I just wanted to do a quick shoot to have a new photo to expand my make-up & hair styling portfolio, but it turned out so much better than I expected. We just make a great team! haha. What most people don’t know is that when I bought my first camera I did so because I used to make a lot of fantasy photomanipulations and I got tired of always working with other people’s photos… But then I brought my camera with me to a concert and then got into concertphotography and I never really started photomanipulations with my own pictures. New collections, new shoot – photography update!

Hey hey! I could once again apologize for not writing often lately but here’s the thing: I probably won’t start writing more in the upcoming weeks anyway so I might keep apologizing… At the moment I’m just way too busy with photoshoots and school. During this time of the year a lot of new fashion collections launch, which means there are a lot of new shoots. And by the time those are finished the Holiday shoots are already coming up so those can be online right on time for the Holiday shopping. And at the same time we’re already preparing the Miss & Mr. Alternative event for 2016, which include promotional photoshoots as well. On top of that I’m also extremely busy for make-up & hairstyling school, which takes up way more time than just a full day of school because practicing is really time consuming. But it’s fun so…
