London Edge Feb. 2018

Hi batsies, Welcome (back), time for a new post! I’ve spent  10/11/12 February in London with Psychara for Attitude Holland, and it was awesome. We spent the Saturday shooting, but that will be a different posts once all the results are finished and approved ;) On Sunday and Monday we went to London Edge. Even though some of my favourite brands aren’t present at London Edge (anymore) I still love going there. This time there were a lot of new and smaller brands and I think that might just be even better than all the big ones. We’ve decided to start out on the highest floor, where the smallest brands were located, and we immediately bumped into some pretty cool ones. Metallimonsters was absolutely adorable, making cute gothic looks for kids… if only there were around when I was little. One dress was even called “Dusk”! Next up was Tatjana…

Jar of Dusk

Hi batsies <3 When you have to clean out over 600 spam messages then you know you have been inactive for too long… so sorry! Last October I started Jar of Dusk , and doing that on top of my work for Attitude Holland has just been taking up all of my time and energy. M’era Luna 2017

Hi batsies <3 Last weekend it was finally time for M’era Luna again! Everybody who knows me a bit or has been following me for a while knows that I look forward to it the whole year, haha. It’s always quite a sad moment when it’s over and you have to get back to adjusting to normal live again, where is all the black? Luckily I had a photoshoot with ReeRee Phillips and Psychara on Wednesday so I could linger in M’era Luna like vibes a bit longer this year. Berlin 2017

Hi batsies <3 I’ve already been back for a week now but here’s my Berlin blog! My brother and I went to Berlin for a week since one of our friends, who moved to Berlin a while back, went back to our hometown that week so we could stay in her appartement. So nice! I don’t think I would normally go for a full week if I had to stay in a small hotelroom all the time, but this was really convenient, it’s a lot better when you have your own kitchen! haha. Her appartment is located in Kreuzberg, very close to the Schlesisches Tor U-bahn station. But since apparently we had the worst timing ever(more on that later) the station was closed the entire week and we had to walk a bit further. Hi batsies, I’m well aware that it has been over a week since AttitudeFest and that this blog is quite late… I was planning to wait on the aftervideo, since we still haven’t received the final version I just decided to write now and add the video later. And well it took some time for me to get back on track as well, AttitudeFest is always taking up soo much of my time and energy. Festival time!

Hi batsies, time for a new outfit post! This time I chose a “special” outfit, it’s almost the exact outfit I was wearing to AttitudeFest last year! (only I had to wear a crew shirt back then, haha). So I decided to turn it into a new outfit post to do some promoting for this year, sorry not sorry. If you missed it: we’re organising AttitudeFest again this year! At Atak in Enschede, indoors and outdoors and this year will be even more epic! We’ve got bands, catwalkshows, acts, a fortuneteller, workshops (like special fx make-up, wish I could join it), a huge Attitude market, live tattoo paint, free hairdye sessions and even Hexbomb is coming by! Mixing Arctic Fox

Hi batsies <3 Since my previous Arctic Fox post was so popular I decided to share my experiences with mixing their dye as well. I’ve been “blond” for a while now so I had quite a good base to start dyeing some brighter colours again, the roots were a bit darker though as you can see on this before photograph. It was quite a warm blond and I actually wanted to go grey but that probably wouldn’t work out as well since my hair would be a bit too dark still and a bit too warm. So I decided to go blue-ish! But obviously I don’t want to go just blue, so I mixed up Arctic Fox Aquamarine (a turquoise colour) with their Transylvania (dark grey/black) trying to get a more grey-ish blue… Before: Mixing: As you can see the blue already appeared really dark and I mixed in a…

Be a misfish

Hi batsies, It’s official! I no langer have to work at Zara. Which feels really strange since I’ve spent sooo many hours over there the last months. I just came back from handing in my working clothes so it’s truely done now. The freedom… I think this might be the best form of ‘spring cleaning’ ever! Haha. Talking about spring cleaning I’ve spent the weekend cleaning up our balcony and building a minigarden, so now I have a small garden over here as well. I love spending time outside, my sun allergies are making it less fun but for now I prefer itchy and ugly skin over being stuck inside. Hopefully if I let my skin adjust to the sun already it will be better by the time it’s summer. Dutch Comic Con 2017!

Hi batsies, last weekend was Dutch Comic Con time! Since Attitude Holland was their biggest partner this year I spent soo much time creating banners and adds and preparing that it was super nice that it was finally here! It was my first time at a cosplay event like this and I do have to admit that I felt like a complete noob for not recognizing all the characters but it was fun and just awesome to watch all those creations. On Saturday I spent the first hours waiting for our models and guide them to the entrance… Apparently I didn’t choose the best place for that because one of the guards came by and he said “We’re so glad you’re over here for so long, we’re having a great time watching the camera footage” *insert creepy grin* … So I was really glad when that was finally over!
